::Soulless conveyor belt deliveries. Typical anti-service questions where the patient (customer) is discomforted to feel faulty or guilt. One of the stories... (1 AM) (Lady) - Why the heck did we come if there is no exact sign of delivery yet? (Me) - What should be an exact sign? The contractions happen with less than 10-minute intervals. This is the second pregnancy of my wife, and based on experience, we thought it was just about time to come. (Lady in silence for a minute) - ... alright, come to this room for check up. (Lady after the check) - We are about to deliver a baby, why have not you brought in the luggage yet during the check?! (Me silently leaving. When I arrived back with the luggage after 5 minutes, the amniotic sac was already ruptured by itself.) The three stars are for the professional part, the technical and practical assistance given for delivering a healthy baby without any issues after all, and that is what matters. PS: The cleaning lady was complaining in the other room while its door was open about us not giving any tip for her even after her allusion that not just doctors used to get gratuities. Would have been funny, but she didn't even remove the monthly dust or the used papers from the toilet paper holder left behind by the preceding patient. Crazy, but true, healthcare is like an alternative reality, an upside down world, really.
