The typical tourist trap ! Overpriced and low quality. The worst goulash I have ever had... My Greek salad doesn't taste much better. A pitty!!

We had the daily menu that it is suppose to be fresh. We ordered Gulash, Paprika Chicken, Fill stuff cabbage and everything was taste less, cold and old.

Not particularly bad, but it’s nothing special. It used to be a cool place a couple of years ago, but something definitely changed. The visibly troubled waitress tries to be nice and I appreciate her effort. However, service is far from professional. The restaurant visibly suffers from the ailments of the Hungarian hospitality industry, including the absence of skilled workforce (as the most motivated and educated waiters work in Western Europe). The level of the cuisine is that of a university cantine - hence, a cantine it is. If you want to enjoy a good Hungarian meal close by, better to opt for Menza (still...)

My friend and I visited in January 2018 after being recommended by a young, local tour guide. We were able to find it easily, and when we entered it was a very cosy environment. We took the 3 course menu and were delighted by the price so we added a bottle of (house) red wine. I'm a vegetarian so the options were slightly limited, but I still had enough to eat. Both my friend and I were disappointed with our meals. My two appetisers and pie for dessert were nearly frozen, the plate included. The main dish was good.

Daily menu sounded sooo good and was so cheap so we decided to give it a go. Waitresses weren't the most welcoming but that didn't matter to me too much, was there solely for the food. Goulash soup came and it was delicious. UNTIL... MY GIRLFRIEND FOUND A BUG IN HER SOUP! AN ACTUAL BUG THE SIZE OF A BAKED BEAN! It shocked us considering how nice the soup was but obviously our stomachs were turned and we left immediately. Such a shame. So if you like bugs in your soup maybe this is the place for you.
