  The accommodation was, to say the least, Spartan, in contrast to the lavish exterior. No attempt had been made to make the rooms welcoming or cosy. It felt seedy and cheap. Although we had specified double bed we ended up pushing two bunks together because the double was on a mezzanine floor accessible only by a steep ladder which neither my girlfriend or I felt comfortable using. Pillows and duvets were in short supply too. The lighting was poor, the floor tiles were broken in places... all in all it was disappointing. The letting company demanded payment in cash on arrival which seemed irregular. We paid €99 for 3 nights, which compares unfavourably with neighbourhood airbnbs which offer much better accommodation for the same or less.
