::More style than substance. Saw these amazing milkshakes in the window so came by a few days later to get one. The doughnuts on top were nothing to write home about and most of the candy on the glass is inedible because it's glued on with chocolate. It was expensive for what was basically two ring doughnuts and a mediocre milkshake which came straight out of a machine...

::The best looking donuts in the city! Go there see the beauty. You can find it as Ms. Bagel- outside it's only called by that.

::The place is shiny clean, modern designed and very comfortable to sit in. The service girls were nice and friendly, and the factory view of the hard working men and women was impressive. Sadly, the donut i chose wasn't that good, but there were so many others to choose from, that I'm sure it's good. Very nice place to stop for a coffee and a donut or bagel.

::We stumbled upon Mr. Funk on our last morning in Budapest. It had a fun look to it and we're always suckers for a good bagel. Ms. Green (lox, green apple and cream cheese) was a sweet and savory delight and the plain bagel with cream cheese was simply great. It was too early for a shake but they looked incredible so we came back later and had a unicorn freak shake. We've lived in Europe for a few years and this was by far the best shake I've had on the continent. Beautifully presented, it had perfect consistency and wasn't overly sweet (the actual shake that is; there were lots of sugary toppings as expected). The unicorn donut on top was delicious as well. In addition to the delicious food and sweets, the staff at Mr. Funk were wonderful. Thanks for making our last day in Budapest that much sweeter!

::Dear Lord, I think I died and went to donut heaven. The name of the store fits perfectly. Traditional Hungarian style yeasty donuts done funky. Pistachio, raspberry meringue, panda bear, the list goes on. I haven't had one variety yet that wasn't heaven. If you find yourself in Budapest, and you want to have some unique and insanely delicious, well go here. Can't wait until my return to Budapest, this is my favorite donut shop on the planet.
