::Well first of all: the permanent collection is open ONLY till 18:00 (6p.m.) so do not be so glad that you found a museum opened till 20:00 (8p.m.). Only the temporary exhibitions are opened till 8p.m. Do not expect a museum like Tate Modern. It is not like that. It is more like a "lets have a modern art museum and we'll see if it works". Its located in the south of Budapest near the National Theater and a modern bridge. Looks better on the outside than on the inside. Go if you have the time. But don't if you are in Budapest only for a few days.

::Wonderful! An amazing place for any kind of talent showcase, be it; art, exhibition, and live music, theatre, dance or opera. The building is a great architectural feat in itself both night and day. Inside, the building hosts various exhibits, a wonderful music shop and useful info (müpa). The theatres boast great acoustics. Presentability and aesthetics, Pristine.

::Very good selection of masterpieces! The museum is located in an interesting environment, in a modern building (Palace of Art) which is worthy for a museum of contemporary art. The selection of masterpieces are diverse. Everyone can find interesting creations here and can get a picture of modern art. I recommend the temporary exhibitions. Those are really impressive.

::Four stars is a bit generous but there was nothing I didn’t like about this visit. I do wish there was more art to see but what they did have was excellent. Some old some new. Some thoughtful, some silly. He entrance was elk priced. We were limited on time but 45 minutes here was enough for a quick run through. Friendly staff, beautiful space and easy access with the 2 line in the yellow tram. If you want to ice skate also, there was a rink next door with music and festive decoration. I’m already thinking of coming to Budapest again in the warmer weather but the winter market and holiday mood was worth it.

::We really enjoyed the exhibition but unfortunately all the descriptions have been in Hungarian and we couldn't understand much.
