::altough last time my friend and I had ate a steel wire of pan brush from the summer rolls...the dishes here is still delicious and it's like Chinese food. So I take another friend here and had a nice dinner.

::Although not a fancy place, Lam Anh Pho is clean, the service is friendly and prompt and the food is fresh and tasty. I won't get into judgments about authenticity, as getting all the authentic ingredients in Budapest is nearly impossible. But I very much enjoyed my simple meal of a small bowl of beef pho and then a plate with tender shrimp with vegetables in a very light sauce with pan-fried noodles. More than enough food for me. A large cold beer rounded out the meal, which with tax and tip came to 3500 forints (about $14 at today's exchange rate). English and Hungarian spoken here, and maybe German, too.

::GREAT PLACE! Why did I love it...? It’s exactly what you expect from a Vietnamese restaurant. Excellent Pho, a very fair price US$6 and with great taste (i did not ask but it seamed the owners were authentic Vietnamese)! It’s a small place (sitting for 20 persons), they speak English. I would go... again and again with out a problem.

::Excellent value for money food. I tried the fried rice with Shrimps which was served on a hot grill and a soup. All this for 5 euros. The staff were really calm and nice. But they don't accept payment by cards. Overall I would gladly recommend this place.

::It’s a lovely place for Vietnamese stir-fries and hot-stoned food rather than generic well-known-in-the-West dishes, as the selection of the latter seems to be quite limited, although they do have pho. However, they offer something most Vietnamese restaurants don’t have: hot pot. Just order one day in advance and you will have an authentic Vietnamese hot pot, great for friend and family gathering in a cold winter. The wallet-friendly price range makes it even better! Enjoy.
