  Place worth a visit. It is very well maintained for visiting tourists. The good thing is you can take pics and videos inside unlike in some other caves

  One of my favourite sights in Budapest. Our guide alternated between English and Hungarian with lots of interesting information as we went. Some steep stairs and one ladder section but nothing "adventure caving" or too much thrill for most people. It's sad to see how many of the stalagtites and curtains have been snapped off in the hundred years since its discovery. The cave doesn't rank globally for its beauty, but still a fantastic sight to fill your Budapest itinerary with.

  Definitely a unique and fun experience to add to any trip to Budapest. Guides are friendly and make the trip enjoyable for people of any comfort level. The caving is not especially difficult and anyone of average fitness shouldn't have any difficulty with it. Takes some time to get here with public transit but fairly easy to figure out.

  Perfect tour. Highest recommendations. Some places are a bit tight, so don't be shocked. Plus need to climb narrow stairs (more like a ladder). But go for it, won't regret it. Guide did speak English plus you get material to read.

  Amazing place, definitely worth paying a visit. Friendly, English speaking staff. I've visited the cave on Wednesday in February, the tour of 16:15, and was the only one to attend it, which created an extraordinary atmosphere. Loved the tour! Prepare for some stairs climbing, but don't worry about the path - the passage is safe and concrete made. The temperature inside is 10* - nice one for the winter, and the air is really clear. Kids will love the bats sleeping on the cave's walls. Entrance costs 1400HUF or 1100 reduced price. The adventure tour is also available!
