::Csodálatos épület együttesben, elhelyezkedő múzeum mely nagyszerű program mind Budapest története mind a Budai vár története iránt érdeklődnék.
Liviu Macovei
::While not a big fan of historical artifacts in general, the "shadow and light" exhibition is worth seeing, it presents a good overview of the last 1000 years of Budapest history.

::The Hungarian National Museum complements this one. Remember, ALL museums in Budapest are closed on Mondays. That is the day to go to the other attractions, Great Market for one.

::My wife and I visited. It is worth the visit - there's enough to see, and Budapest has an incredibly interesting history as it "switched sides" so many times. There's work of art, and you can descend into the basements. The structure itself is beautiful. That said, it really is a shame how badly the museum is set up and run. First off, the closing time is ridiculously early, which causes a lot of people to clog up the museum during the afternoon. Secondly, many of the signs are just to elaborate - too much details. They have written entire novels on the wall, in every room, on every floor - it's too much. The great museums of this world are great because they know how to select what is worth showing, order it logically, and present it in such a way that visitors can digest it easily. None of that applies here - the signs are bad, the different floors and the rooms/artefacts within them are order weirdly. You are not making that journey that, say, the Smithsonians let you make.

::Situado en el castillo es el mejor de los tres museos que allí se encuentran. El espacio interior es muy grande con piezas y estancias que explican la historia del castillo y la ciudad.
