  Sorry, but I regret the one nite I spent here (early April 2018). The bathrooms were filthy, the toilet ran and ran. The kitchen area is TINY and not very clean. I only stayed here because the places closer for me were both booked solid that one nite. Plus, I actually had to pay MORE for this dump than I had payed at the others. Catchy name, but it's a dump.

  Arrived with 2 friends and 2 more new ones in a cold night in Budapest. Cute Place with everything you need. Regarding the bad reviews: I don't know what kind of expectations people seem to have nowadays for hostels when the night costs you 7€. The place was clean, warm, tidy and we had a good hot shower in the Morning. Would recommend.

  I wouldn't recommend this hostel. It relies on seasonal workers or people doing a work-away experience...so they don't bother to clean the toilets or clean much at all. I had a problem with my bank card and got a receipt that was written in Hungarian. I asked the guy working at the non-existent front desk if he could just tell me what it said, and he told me his shift had already finished and that he was going out for the night. Thank you very much!

  I disagree with any of the negative reviews. This small Hostel is really cute. I stayed together with two friends from University 4 days in this Hostel last october, and everything was perfect. The location is the best in the city, you can reach every part by walking, no need for transportation. The rooms are basic, but it is what it is, c'mon, its a Hostel with 6 or 8 beds in one room. Actually even this rooms are spacious. The staff was nice, the owner and the volunteers were really friendly and some nights we went out together. On our trip we went to 3 different cities but I never found an atmosphere like that. I'm pretty sure I'll be back next summer!

  DO NOT STAY HERE This is literally the worst hostel you could find. I spent 4 weeks on here as part of a volunteering program, here are some of the things I noticed: There are no shower curtains in the bathroom, so every time someone showers the floor gets flooded and you have to mop it. There are only two showers and the hot water runs out within 25 minutes of one person showering, so for a hostel that claims to be able to host up to 16 people, this is ridiculous. The entire place is extremely dirty, especially all the cooking implements (stove, toaster, fridge) The mattresses on each bed are very thin and extremely uncomfortable, you can actually feel the springs in your back. The pillows are disgusting as well (see the picture) While we were there, the owner lived on it, and he would cook for himself without cleaning his dishes for 3 days or more. The lock on the bathroom door is a little hook that falls off every time you open the door, so there’s no real privacy. There were not enough dishes for 6 people, as we had to buy our own water bottles since there were no glasses we could drink of, there were only 3 bowls and even the cutlery is short. There is not enough room to cook or clean or work, as there is no lobby, no common area outside of the rooms and not even a table for more than two people. The pictures found in this review show how the hostel looks up to January 2018, there is no plasma TVs, all the beds are bunk beds that wobble if you move just a little bit and so on.
